BLUEFIELD — Richlands High tops the 2019 All-Bluefield Daily Telegraph Softball Team with six players having won its first softball championship since 1996 and the only school in the area to do so this year.

Richlands’ Mac Osborne is the Player of the Year after a great season where she went 22-3 with 316 strikeouts on the mound and was a key hitter for the Lady Blue Tornado.

The Coach of the Year is Richlands’ Ronnie Davis for guiding the Lady Blue Tornado to the VHSL Class 2 title after back-to-back unsuccessful trips to the state title game.

Seven high schools are represented on the 18-player team with Richlands leading the way with six, three each from Tazewell and PikeView, two from River View and Princeton, and one apiece from Graham and James Monroe.
