ATHENS – Concord University cross country and track & field assistant coach Jonathan Gore competes in his second race of the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics Games when he lines up in the 200-meter dash Friday night (middle of morning Tokyo time).
Gore will be racing in the trials of the 200-meter dash in the T64 category. Two heats will be held at 10:28 p.m. eastern time Friday (11:28 a.m. Saturday morning Tokyo) and 10:34 p.m. eastern (11:34 a.m. Tokyo).
The trials of the 100-meters will be shown on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) live Friday night from Tokyo. The race can also be seen on NBCsports.com.
The athletes that Gore coaches at Concord and community supporters will once again gather in Room 405 of the Carter Center to watch the race. Room 405 has a capacity of approximately 50 people. If planning to attend, please follow CU's indoor mask mandate. Seating is first come, first serve.
