ATHENS — Concord University head football coach Paul Price has announced three different camps for the program this summer.
First on the schedule is the Players Camp, open to children in grades 6-12 on June 5-7. This camp will give players a chance to enhance their football skills. Cost is $200 for overnight and $150 for commuting players. Registration begins at noon on June 5. Players need to bring their cleats, helmet, tennis shoes, physical form, insurance card as well as sheets and toiletries for those taking advantage of the overnight accommodations.
On June 14, a one-day camp for 7-on-7 Team camp/Big Man camp will be held at Callahan Stadium. Each 7-on-7 team will be guaranteed six games during the tournament. For the big man camp, linemen will be taught skills and techniques by Concord coaches. This is a great opportunity for them to have fun, compete and be evaluated by college coaches. Cost is $120 per team for the 7-on-7 and $20 per plaer for the Big Man Camp. This camp is open to high school teams only.
Senior Showcase camp will be held on June 9 this year for rising 2020 seniors. Cost is $25 per player and starts at 1 p.m. Get a chance to learn from some of the top coaches in the country. Use this opportunity to get better and be evaluated by college coaches.
