DOMESTIC BATTERY: A female subject advised Sgt. T.A. Gray that her boyfriend had struck and hit her several times during the day. Donald Lindsey, 57, of Princeton, was arrested.

NO INSURANCE; FAILURE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL: Officers responded to Bee Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Upon speaking with the driver, Ptlm. J.D. Halsey noted the smell of alcohol coming from the driver's person. The driver advised that he had been ran off the road. The driver further allegedly advised he had been drinking before driving. The male was transported to Princeton Community Hospital for injuries in the accident. The officers observed damaged to a car, a power pole and a porch. Joseph Streeby, 24, of Princeton, was cited.

Nov. 23

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A female reported damage to three of her vehicle tires on Kee Street.

SHOPLIFTING: Employees of Smoker Friendly reported a male subject had taken two cigars without paying.

SHOPLIFTING: Ptlm. B.E. Grimm confronted a female shoplifter at Dollar General on Mercer Street. The officer recovered stolen items from the female's pockets. Sabrina Mullins, 40, of Princeton, was cited and released.

Nov. 24

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY; PETIT LARCENY: A male and female subject advised someone had broken the rear window from their car and her purse was stolen.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Damage to a vacant building next to Venus Lounge was reported.

BURGLARY: A female subject reported several items were missing  from her son's home on North Fifth Street.

TRESPASSING: Ptlm. J.S. Bish located a female subject with previous shoplifting citations from Grant's inside the store. Betty Sullivan, 26, of Princeton, was cited.  

Nov. 26

PUBLIC INTOXICATION: An employee of Danny's Bar advised Sgt. E.T. Pugh  a male subject had groped a female inside the bar and refused to pay his bill. The officer located the subject allegedly staggering down Mercer Street. Upon contact, the officer noted the male appeared to have difficulty standing without falling. James Asbury, 41, of Boissevain, Va., was arrested.

LARCENY: A female subject reported items purchased from Walmart were missing from ResCare on Mercer Street.

SHOPLIFTING: A manager at Grant's reported a male subject had stolen an alcoholic beverage from the store on East Main Street.

Nov. 27

DOMESTIC BATTERY: A female subject reported that her boyfriend had struck her following her telling him that she was leaving with him. Warrants are pending.  

SHOPLIFTING: A male subject was reported to have stolen two items from Kroger's. Christopher Cardwell, 36, of Princeton, was cited.

DUI (2ND OFFENSE); DRIVING REVOKED FOR DUI (2ND OFFENSE); FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE; PERMITTING DUI: Ptlm. J.D. Halsey observed a gray truck traveling at an excessive rate of speed on Athens Road. The officer activated his lights and the vehicle allegedly sped up and turned off before stopping. Upon approaching the driver, the officer noted the smell of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. The officer learned the male had previous DUI convictions and was wanted on a warrant from Virginia. Eric Lawrence, 39, of Princeton, was charged with the first three offenses. Randall Blankenship, the passenger in the vehicle, was cited with the fourth item.

Nov. 28

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Officers located and arrested David Cecil, 42, of Princeton, after multiple disturbances allegedly caused by the male were reported.
