DUI: An officer observed a vehicle with a defective headlight. A traffic stop was conducted. The subject advised the officer that his license was suspended. Allegedly, the subject showed impairment during the walk and turn test and the one leg stand test. Mickey Blankenship, 38, of Pearisburg, Va., was arrested.
WORTHLESS CHECK WARRANT: The subject arrived at the police station in regard to a warrant for a worthless check. The check amount was allegedly $6.61. Amanda Miller, 34, of Princeton, was arrested.
DUI: A traffic stop was conducted. Allegedly, the officer noticed an open container of alcohol in the cup holder. Allegedly, the subject failed the PBT with a result of .104.

DRIVING SUSPENDED FOR MISC., OBSTRUCTING/RESISTING AN OFFICER: An officer noticed a black car slowing on the roadway as if attempting to talk to another subject. As the officer came back and passed the vehicle for a second time it allegedly revved up and sped across a parking lot. The officer approached the vehicle. The officer noticed a man with blue jeans and a grey and black hoodie running behind a small concrete building. The officer activated his high beams in hopes of blinding the runner, in case his intention was to shoot. The officer left his vehicle and slowly covered the building and found the subject looking around the other corner of the building at his patrol car. The officer then activated his flashlight and with his firearm drawn, identified himself and told the subject to get on the ground. The subject complied and was handcuffed. Bryan French, 32, of Princeton, was arrested.
DUI, DRIVING SUSPENDED FOR MISC: An officer observed a vehicle weave within the lines on the roadway. The officer also observed the vehicle stop at a traffic light and then pull out in front of a blue SUV. A traffic stop was conducted. The officer noticed an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. Allegedly, the driver had a failing BAC of .113. Janet Bryant, 47, of Bluefield, was arrested.
DUI, DRIVING SUSPENDED FOR MISC, OBSTRUCTING/RESISTING AN OFFICER: An officer noticed a vehicle was weaving back and forth in the lane. It was also noticed that the vehicle would jerk while driving through curves. A traffic stop was conducted. Allegedly, the subject said he gave his friend’s name to the officer because he knew that he did not have a license. The subject took the INTOX EC/IR-II with an alleged result of .071. Darious Hunt, 24, of Bluefield, was arrested.
