Farm Bureau collecting locally for the Ronald McDonald House April 2-3

PRINCETON — The Mercer County Farm Bureau is sponsoring their annual Food Check-Out Day by collecting food and donating it to the Ronald McDonald House in Charleston. Non perishable food items and cash donations will be accepted at the following locations on Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3:

GRANT’S Main St., Princeton; GRANT’S Glenwood; GRANT’S, Athen’s Crossroads; GRANT’S, Green Valley; and KROGER’s in Brushfork/Bluewell.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill children receiving medical treatment in Southern and Western West Virginia. The food collected will be used to help feed families staying at the home. Monetary donations will be used to purchase fresh foods and supplies for those families staying at the home.
