PRINCETON — For approximately 30 years under different names and ownerships, the business located across from Mercer School has been associated with lawn and garden equipment. Now re-opened under the name Evergreen Power & Equipment under new ownership, it is poised to continue the tradition of service to the area.
Robert Punturi, the sales manager for the business and a 15-year employee of the previous business, said Monday, “We got our businesses license on Jan. 28 and opened up the first of this month. There’s been a business here for over 30 years and I worked for the previous owners.”
The new owner is retired veteran Ronald Thomure.
According to the web site www.evergreenpowerandequipment.com., the store keeps in stock different types of lawnmowers, chainsaws, buck stoves, and pool supplies. Each and every product is meticulously scrutinized and tested before it is displayed in the store. “We strive to offer our clients first-class products that will serve them well for the years to come.”
According to Punturi, “We sell and service lawn and garden equipment, including ‘Gravely’, ‘Sthil’,’Cub Cadet’ and ‘Buck Stoves’ brands . At Evergreen Power and Equipment LLC, we sell gas, electric, manual, and battery powered push, reel, hover, riding, self-propelled, and riding lawnmowers.”
The store also offers diverse types of chainsaws, buck stoves, and pool supplies, including purifiers, cleaners, and alarms. Punturi went on to say, “We are confident that you will find the lawn equipment and other instruments that you are looking for at your store. After all, we are currently among the leading companies in the area and region.”

Evergreen Power and Equipment is open 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. - Noon on Saturdays.
