Andrew Auto Rental adds to Princeton's rental options

PRINCETON — Princeton residents looking to rent a car have a new choice.

Princeton mayor Patricia “Pat” Wilson, Mercer County Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Robert Farley, and MCCC Executive Assistant Keith Circle were on hand as Andrew Auto Rental opened on Thorn Street Monday morning.

“It’s almost overwhelming,” Sanders said of the arrival of Farley and Wilson. “It’s exciting. That was the first time meeting the mayor and it’s awesome that she took time out of her day to come.”

Business Developer Sanders said within 10 minutes of entering the store, if one has a $100 deposit, is 25 years old, and a driver’s license, they could leave with a car.

“We carry a little bit older models to the newer models,” Sanders said. “We are kind of following a niche of our own. We also try to work with people that don’t have insurance.”

Owner Andrew Monti originally opened the business in New Jersey. He has also opened a location in Hinton and there are plans to open a location in Beckley in the future. Monti is an investor in Summers County according to Sanders and could be looking to divest from New Jersey in the future.
