Local Quilt Shop Day

PRINCETON — This Jan. 24, quilters and fabric lovers are invited to The Sewing Gallery, located at 535 Rogers St. in Princeton, for the first annual “Visit Your Local Quilt Shop Day.” This all-day event is designed to promote and raise awareness of local fabric shops and their place in the local economy and in the creative pursuits of quilters, sewing enthusiasts, and crafters. The Sewing Gallery will be demonstrating small projects throughout the day and will provide expert assistance with projects and helpful techniques on fabric working and quilt making. The business will also participate in the World Wide Quilt Day on March 16. Bring your own machine to the event. For more information, contact Sue Hardin at 304-487-6700.
