Pipestem Bird Survey Weekend

PRINCETON — Join Pipestem Resort State Park Naturalist Jim Phillips in cooperation with National Audubon Society and Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology for a weekend of bird walks and bird talks.

On Feb. 15, meet at the Nature Center at 10 a.m. for a two-hour eagle watch. Caravan to Bluestone State Park to look for wintering eagles. Spotting scopes and binoculars will be available.

On Feb. 16 meet at McKeever Lodge at 9 a.m. for the Saturday Morning Bird Walk through the cabin areas. Binoculars will be available. Also, the Nature Habitat will be open 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. to observe.

On Feb. 17, join Jim Phillips at the Nature Center for a one-hour Sunday Bird Walk along the edge of the woods. Binoculars will be available.
