Princeton Public Library Events

PRINCETON — The Princeton Public Library will host the following events during the week of Jan. 12-19

• The WVLC Reads novel for the February discussion, Denise Giardina’s “Emily's Ghost: A Novel of the Brontë Sisters,” is available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.

• Sign up to take part in the Princeton Happiness Project. Based on Gretchen Rubin’s best sellers, “The Happiness Project” and “Happier at Home.” The first meeting is Jan. 14. Registration is required for this event.

• Join the Princeton Public Library for an afternoon of fun and creativity with LEGO on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 4 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 5:30 p.m. This new monthly program allows kids to enjoy an after school snack, make some new friends, and build something awesome with the library's collection of LEGO. LEGO video games are also available to play on the Wii. We even have larger building blocks suitable for the youngest builders. Registration is not required for this event.

• Storytime at the Princeton Public Library will be held on Friday, Jan. 18, 10-11 a.m. The theme for the week is “Under the Sea.”

• The Princeton Public Library will be closed Jan. 21 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
