PRINCETON — Dec. 27

PETIT LARCENY: A female subject reported her engagement ring was stolen after she left it at a tanning facility.

Dec. 28

SHOPLIFTING: Officers J.L. Faris and J.S. Bish responded to Kroger in reference to a shoplifter. Loss prevention officers advised that a female had placed several items in her purse and had attempted to leave without paying. Andreana Whitlow, 29, of Princeton, was arrested.  

Dec. 29

DISORDERLY CONDUCT; PUBLIC INTOXICATION: Officer B.E. Grimm located an extremely intoxicated male subject in the hallway of an apartment building. The male was advised to stay in his apartment. He allegedly became belligerent and allegedly told the officers to arrest him and stepped toward them. Matthew Christian, 24, of Jolo, was arrested.

Dec. 30

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Officers J.L. Faris and J.S. Bish were on patrol on Mercer Street and located a vehicle that appeared to be weaving and traveling over the center line. The officers also observed that the vehicle's passenger side brake light was not working. The officers initiated a traffic stop. Upon approach, the officers observed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle appeared to have bloodshot eyes and eyes that couldn't stay open. The driver allegedly failed three field sobriety tests. Shawn Rivera, 20, of Princeton, was arrested.

SHOPLIFTING: Grant's store management advised that a female had taken two prepackaged pieces of meat and had left without paying. Heather Cass, 30, of Bristol, Va., was arrested.

Dec. 31

PUBLIC INTOXICATION; INDECENT EXPOSURE: Officers located a male subject lying face down on Mercer Street. The officers noted the male appeared intoxicated. The officers advised the male to head home. Three minutes later, different officers located the same male who then allegedly urinated on the sidewalk. John Stephenson, 25, of Princeton, was arrested.
